Keeping your team's feedback safe is the point.
Anonymity is built into the application, not a setting we flip. Here's the rest of what that looks like, in plain language.
Anonymity by design
When a member answers a daily question, the answer is recorded with no information that could trace it back to the person who answered. We can show your manager that someone on the team picked an option; we cannot show which person. There's no setting to flip and no admin override that changes that.
You can read the long version on our Trust page, including the specific anonymity guarantees we commit to.
Encryption
Everything between you and Daily Question is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted on the servers we use to host the application.
Access control
Inside the application, members only see information about the teams and campaigns they belong to. Managers and admins see what their role allows for their organization. Account-level changes (billing, team membership) are gated to admins. Behind the scenes, only a small number of authorized team members can access customer data, and that access is logged.
Service providers
We use a small set of trusted service providers to host the application, process payments, send email, and provide AI features. We share only the minimum information needed for each provider to do its job, and we audit who has access on a regular basis.
Incident response
If we discover a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you about it and help you respond. We don't treat communication here as a box-ticking exercise. You'll get a real email from a real person explaining what happened and what to do next.
Compliance
We are GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA aware. Our Privacy Policy and DPA cover data-subject rights, international transfers via Standard Contractual Clauses, and our retention schedule.
